Burning Node Pro Firmware – The Corsair User Forums
Kindly just take this quick study to aid us improve our community forums and neighborhood involvement: study. Profile: Lighting Node Pro Firmware. I really don’t understand where else to create this.. I have had my Lighting Node Pro for about 3 weeks now with 3 ML Pro RGB mm followers attached to it , and every so often link will inform me there is a firmware up-date readily available for the node pro, when i mouse click okay absolutely nothing occurs, the firmware variation has remained on 0. Can anyone tell myself what current version is, and just how I have my node pro updated?
One potential way to obtain the situation might be that I am using an internal nzxt usb hub i never really had any difficulties with it til i got the node pro though , this is certainly thanks to Asus within their limitless wisdom of only including one usb 2 header to my motherboard. I have only 2 gadgets connected to the usb hub, my node pro, and my Hi Pro fluid cooler. Another problem that could be relevant, is sometimes once I start link up, my Hi and my node pro are not able to show up link generally is empty, with very little, not even sensors appear , a reboot fixes this, and I do believe it may be related to a continuous sensor issue that Asus are meant to be fixing shortly in a bios update.
Sorry for the long-winded message, and thank you when planning on taking enough time to read through it. Run like hell, those are alien lemons! The newest firmware when it comes to Node Pro is 0. I’m unsure why connect would be suggesting that there is a brand new version out around; that smells like a bug for me. You would do the firmware enhance when you go to Options but there is you don’t need to do that. What is happening is the fact that hub is failing continually to initialize because of the AsMedia execution.
Fortunately, a reboot fixes you right up. Mcdougal isn’t a Corsair employee, will not portray Corsair, and no opinion should always be construed as an official statement from Corsair. That is really strange, I will make an effort to don’t forget to get a screenshot the next time it informs me there is a firmware up-date for my LNP : If I recall correctly both USB Legacy help and XHCI Handoff are generally enabled during my bios, I will have a look the very next time I am rebooting my rig to see where those have reached.
I’ve no idea why Asus believed it had been a smart idea to provide us with just one usb 2 header, I do believe they corrected that within the Crosshair VII Hero though, but I actually don’t have to upgrade to that particular board now. I have another fast concern, presently my Hi Pro forgets the performance rpm settings i apply for my pump after i energy my rig down, I prefer the “set present options as device defaults” choice for my pump, and it will bear in mind it if i do a reboot, however it won’t if i shut down my rig, it goes right back to balanced rpm upon power up.
Loading up link once windows loads up puts it back into performance, however the pump doesn’t seem to be keeping options on a shut down. The rest appears to save to my pump just fine, e.
This 1 here to be exact! Everything works in harmony, maybe because i really don’t have AsMedia chipsets which I have actually read is a concern as stated by Devbiker. Perchance you may be able to resolve the firmware up-date pop up message. Oh i’m completely aware of the issues surrounding the ASMedia usb chipsets, but I am not even sure if this is the cause of the problem..
I could try giving link a clean install, but I might wait til i reinstall windows on the next week simply an os refresh, devoid of problems with anything else aside from a slow startup.
The pump not remembering the rpm profile i save to it on a shut down is a completely seperate problem though, a friend with similar cooler and motherboard as myself has also exactly the same issue, the pump will keep its profile spared for the rpm on a reboot, but on a shutdown it’s back once again to rpm balanced in place of rpm performance. The custom color pages we’ve both set to our pumps are retained though, it’s just maybe not fully conserving the rpm profile. I’ve affixed a screenshot of link and my product manager with usb gadgets expanded anyways.
No, this might be a different problem. Can you disable Fast business in Windows? Sorry for the late response, already been busy with a few things during my life. Actually turning fast startup down simply a bandaid to your issue though? I never ever had any problems with the performance profile sticking back at my Hi V2, even in the event the device had been off for a few times approximately. I find it unusual that performance mode is sticking for reboots, but not shut downs, this might suggest the storage isn’t becoming written completely in the Hi Pro, certainly?
Windows Fast business actually perfect and you can find difficulties with it outside of prospective maybe not definite issues with Corsair’s material, particularly with respect to device detection and how that interacts with your system’s hardware.
That does not explain why it’s fine because of the Hi V2 though.. Turning down fast startup could have a rather big affect my startup times, right?
Individually, I have not noticed a difference between having it enabled and never. I boot from NVME. When i got the pump set to performance, i may do as numerous restarts as i like while the rate will stick, but if I actually do a shut down, I must wait til link loads before it is during the rpm i need it at.
It is not conserving towards the unit, no matter what many times i click the option to save the settings to the product. Like i keep saying, this is never a problem with the Hi V2 on a single system. I actually don’t have link enabled on windows startup any more either, I am being forced to begin it up then close it when the pump profile kicks in. There are unusual cpu use issues that i understand have been published about so i won’t get into detail.
If for any reason I cannot go into my OS and i have to reinstall it or identify anything, I am maybe not likely to have the ability to change the pump speed and this does concern myself only a little.
Would not mind being informed what i’ve done wrong.. I’ve held my cool, not been flippant or insulting by any means.. I only recently upgraded towards the RMx. Presently there’s this issue using the Hi Pro and it is becoming overlooked?? I’m sure i’m allowed to be unhappy about that. Thread Tools. All times are GMT The time now could be PM. User Name.
